Manila, April 2005

It was the end of the school term and the holidays for the children started on the last week of April 2005. With a good report card, the children were rewarded with an overseas trip. First Chu proposed Hong Kong. I mentioned that Disneyland is not open yet. Why not save the trip and go when it opened? Then she suggested visiting Mayet, her good friend, in Manila.
On the 28th April, I flew into Cebu to meet up with the family. On the next day we were on our way to the airport, this time on a domestic flight to Manila. There were five of us on the trip; Chu, Bimbim, Tina, Lalang and myself, the children been first time flyers.
